Water, sewer, and trash collection billing and service information.

Utility Services

The City of La Demo owns and operates the water treatment plant, wastewater treatment facility, and the distribution and collection systems serving all properties within the city limits. Residential and commercial customers receive a combined monthly bill covering water, sewer, and trash collection services.

Billing & Payment

Due date: the 15th of each month
Late fee: $25.00 assessed after the 20th
Average residential bill: $145.75/month (water + sewer + trash)

Payments may be made online, by mail, by phone, or at the drop box in the City Hall parking lot (24 hours). Auto-pay enrollment is available through the online portal.

Start, Stop, or Transfer Service

New customers should contact the Utility Billing office at least 3 business days before the desired start date. A $75 deposit is required for new accounts and will be refunded after 12 months of on-time payments. To transfer service within La Demo, complete the Utility Transfer Form.

Water Quality

La Demo's drinking water meets or exceeds all federal and state standards. The annual Water Quality Report (Consumer Confidence Report) is published each July and mailed to all customers. The most recent report is available at City Hall or by calling (555) 867-5309 ext. 500.
