The City Archive preserves historical records, photographs, maps, and documents dating back to La Demo's founding in 1847. The archive is maintained by the City Clerk's office and is available for public research by appointment.
The collection includes original City Charter documents, Council meeting minutes from 1850 to present, historic photographs of the downtown district, engineering drawings for major public works projects, and records of notable community events and milestones.
