About the Court
The La Demo Municipal Court handles misdemeanor criminal cases, traffic violations, and city ordinance violations within the city limits. The court operates under the jurisdiction of the State of Confusion judicial system. Judge Margaret Harrington presides over all proceedings.
Legal Terms & Notices
Defendants retain the right to petition for a writ of Habeas Corpus under State of Confusion law. All proceedings follow standard rules of due process as guaranteed by the State of Confusion Constitution.
Pro se defendants (those representing themselves) may request court-appointed counsel if they qualify under the indigency guidelines established by the State of Confusion Judicial Council.

Paying Fines
Court fines may be paid in person at the Court Clerk's window (City Hall, Room 110), by mail, or online through the Online Payment Portal. Payment plans are available for fines exceeding $500. A 3% convenience fee applies to online and phone payments.
