Collection Schedule
Residential trash and recycling collection occurs weekly on your assigned day. Place bins at the curb by 7:00 AM on your collection day with lids closed and handles facing the street. Bins left at the curb after 7:00 PM on collection day may be subject to a $25 fine per the city ordinance.
Recycling Accepted
- Paper, cardboard, and paperboard
- Plastic bottles and containers (#1 and #2)
- Aluminum and steel cans
- Glass bottles and jars
Not accepted: Plastic bags, styrofoam, food-soiled paper, electronics, batteries, or hazardous materials.
Bulky Item Pickup
Residents may request one free bulky item pickup per quarter by calling (555) 867-5309 ext. 400 at least 3 business days in advance. Items include furniture, appliances (Freon must be removed), and large electronics. Additional pickups are $25 each.
Spring Clean-Up Week
The annual Spring Clean-Up Week typically occurs in mid-April. During this week, unlimited curbside pickup is available at no charge for bulky items, yard waste, and old appliances. Watch for details in the city newsletter and on the News page.
